We are looking for highly motivated, positive and experienced Food and Beverage Attendants who will be responsible for upholding the highest quality standards for the food and beverage (F&B) operations across all of our restaurants and bars. Duties/responsibilities:Provide a-la-carte and buffet breakfast/dinner serviceReceive orders and serve customer requests completely in a timely manner, serving as a barista when requiredUnderstand menu content, any menu changes, and promotional activitiesKeep your service area clean, tidy, and well-preparedEfficiently manage the proper settlement of all customer accountsAnswer guest queries in a polite and helpful mannerBar Service including basic cocktails, wines, beers and spiritsTo succeed in this role you need the following skills and experience: Experience working within a restaurant environment and bar serviceHold a current RSA certificate less than three years oldFriendly, positive, energetic disposition and committed to delivering exceptional guest serviceMotivated to learn new skills and techniquesSmart and tidy, in appearanceFlexible, reliable, and responsive to a range of work situationsPrevious food hygiene experience preferredElectronic ordering systems and cash handling experienceExperience in a similar position within a 4.5 star hotel or resort environment TAB/Keno experience is advantageousThe applicants we are seeking will be able to work varying shifts including nights and weekends, and must be available for full time hours. Rosters may include early morning start and/or late night finishes.Opportunities exist to multi-hire into our fantastic Convention Centre operations as a Banquet Attendant where you'll be able to join a team doing specialist events and conferences both onsite and offsite providing variety and experience in another part of the business.
