As the Front Office Manager, you will be a key member in the hotel’s leadership team, balancing guest expectations, our guest’s needs and hotel profitability. You will work closely with the General Manager in this hands-on role and be responsible for the overall management of our front office and concierge teams. Your entrepreneurial and personalised approach to guest service will be a key focus in the position. What you’ll be doing:Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable experience for our guestsAssist with check-in, check-out of guests, ensuring all procedures are adhered toRecruiting, coaching, training and developing a team of current and future leaders, monitoring performance, development opportunities and driving employee engagementCommunicate all standards, policies, procedures, rates, packages and Hotel information and proactively monitor for consistencyStay on top of systems and procedures, including cash handling, payments and the PMS reservation systemEffectively manage guest feedback and handle complaintsManage a 7-day operation over 24 hours, with varied rosters covering day/night/weekend shifts including public holidaysBe a trusted contact for all guests. Help them with anything from bill issues to local knowledge, and loop in management when necessaryStay safe all the time. Following our safety procedures, you’ll report all incidents and wear any protective gear neededJump into other ad-hoc duties when your colleagues need your helpCome and join a dynamic, progressive, confident team.
