We currently have a vacancy for a Ground Staff and Handy Person to join the team.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Grounds Staff will be responsible for:General cleaning and upkeep of all outdoors areasPicking up rubbish in the exterior perimeter of the premisesMaintaining paths, gardens and common area outside of the premises.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Handy Person will be responsible for:Carrying out routine repair work and maintenance.The ideal person will:Have previous experience in a similar roleHave knowledge of irrigation, plant lift and vegetationHave a manual drivers license (NT)Be able to work unsupervised.Flexible working conditions will be discussed with the successful applicant. Previous experience would be highly regarded as well as a working knowledge of irrigation systems, plants, shrubs and lawns. You will be working with chemicals and machinery so its important that safe handling practices are used.These are primarily outdoor roles that are subject to the weather elements so it is critical that the successful applicant demonstrates and applies self awareness while working.Lasseters has its own enterprise agreement which is modern and reflective of a unique workplace.
