The role of the Houseperson is an integral part of the Housekeeping team. They right person will be energetic and be self-motivated. Able to prioritise tasks and willing to assist the wider team.Your Day to Day: Remove towels, bed linen from rooms ahead of Room AttendantsCheck there are two pool towels and robes in the appropriate roomsPrepare the room for room attendants; open curtains, remove room service trays etc.Ensure linen is delivered in a timely and orderly fashion to the laundryClean and restock storerooms dailyAssist in cleaning hotel rooms as requiredAssist with Public Areas cleaning where necessaryWhat we need from you: Communication skills – you will need to work with a variety of teams within the hotelGood time management, to be able to prioritise your tasks as needed.Flexibility to cover morning and evening shifts on a rotating roster which includes weekends Energetic, strong and great mobility – this role requires you to be on the move and you may be required to lift heavy items or reach down to clean things from the floor.Reliability is essential as your work is key to running a successful hotel.What we offer:On the job training and career developmentMeals provided while you are on eligible shiftsUniforms are provided and laundered on siteYou’ll join the IHG network, which entitles you to hotel discounts worldwide.25% discount on food and beverage across the hotel and casino
