Having recently completed a significant redevelopment programme Lasseters has an enhanced focus on the tourism and hospitality market by providing an exceptional experience to its patrons and guests. Our portfolio of F&B outlets is wide ranging and supports the enhanced offerings where customers needs remain our top priority. Our existing food & beverage products are designed to enhance offerings to cater for an inclusive experience for our patrons. To assist in this objective we are currently recruiting for an experienced Food & Beverage professional to step into the role either Restaurant and / or Bar Manager. In this role, you will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to ensure customers expectations are met in delivering the best products and services throughout the venue with particular focus on our F&B outlets. Duties include: Responsible for the operational direction of the F&B Department Responsible for the day to day running of shifts and for maintaining the smooth operation of all F&B bar areas; including the preparation and coordination of bar serviceScheduling and managing evening entertainment (DJ’s, music) Ensuring standards are maintained in the delivery of food and beverages Ensuring cost control and rotation Ensuring wastage management is minimised Responsible for daily administrative duties Ensure wage costs are in line with budgetary parameters Ensure all staff are appropriately trained and inducted in all areas of operation Ensure departmental compliance in the delivery of Responsible Service of Alcohol and Anti-Money Laundering legislation The successful applicant must hold an RSA Certificate and have the skills and experience to successfully perform in the role. This role will involve hours that require attendance during evenings, weekends and public holidays up to and including 6.30am finishes.
