The company is seeking an experienced system / network administrator.The position is located in Alice Springs in the company's main data centre, and will have responsibility for networks and systems spread across the Lasseters property.Our Requirements:Applicants should possess a degree in Information Technology or relevant industry qualifications and work experience in system and network administration. Sound knowledge of network protocols, the Microsoft range of operating systems as well as the Linux operating system is essential. A thorough understanding of network security including firewalls, proxy servers, virus protection and mail scanning appliances and applications.You will possess a keen eye for detail and ability to logically troubleshoot problems and document solutions. Strong scheduling, time management and task prioritization skill sets are also required in order to maintain the smooth running and deployment of our computer infrastructure.Ability to provide excellent client support is a must, being able to deal and interact effectively with staff of widely varying IT skills. The successful candidate should also possess the following skills and experience.
